Mr. Edwards retired as an Executive Vice President of Lockheed Martin after more than 37 years with the company. Immediately prior to his retirement, he served as Executive Vice President of Lockheed Martin International, where he developed and executed strategies to grow the corporation’s international business by strengthening customer relationships and industry partnerships.

Mr. Edwards also served as the senior executive overseeing the corporation’s business activities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he led engagements with in-country and U.S. government customers and oversees industrialization, offset, contract negotiation, business development, supply chain, and functional and program management activities. Prior to that, he served as the Executive Vice President of Missiles and Fire Control.

A graduate of Gettysburg College, Mr. Edwards holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Opera and the Advisory Boards for the Dallas Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Navy League of the United States Fort Worth Council, and the Committee of the Academy of Medicine, Engineering and Science of Texas for the Industry and Community Affiliates.

Luke Savoie joined Twenty-Six Defense in 2023 as President and CEO-elect. Prior to joining Twenty-Six Defense, Savoie served as President of the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance sector of L3Harris Technologies, an aerospace mission and modernization prime integrator to U.S. and international militaries for ISR, strike and national strategic commercial and control platforms.

Previously, Savoie served as President of L3Harris’ Aviation Services sector and the Surveillance and Strike Systems Sector. He joined the company in 2015 as Vice President and General Manager of ForceX following its acquisition of ForceX, Inc.

Savoie was an instructor pilot in the U.S. Air Force. He has over eight years of Air Force Special Operations Command experience as an AC-130U gunship aircraft commander and as an instructor pilot for U-28As. He was the Chief of Research and Development for the 319th Special Operations Squadron and created the first ever operational R&D program at the tactical unit level. He served in many combat deployments in the Global War on Terror and holds 14 Air Medals and the Bronze Star. He separated from the Air Force at the rank of major.

Savoie graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science in general sciences, emphasis on computer science, and a minor in philosophy. He earned an Executive Master of Business Administration from John Hopkins University.

Bezhalel Machlis has served as the President and CEO of Twenty-Six Defense since 2013. From 2008 until 2012, he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager, Land and C4I. Previously, he served as Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Land Systems, C4I and battlefield systems. From 2000 until 2002, he served as Vice President of Battlefield and Information Systems.

Mr. Machlis joined Twenty-Six Defense in 1991 and held various management positions in the battlefield and information systems area. Prior to that, he served as an artillery officer in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), where he holds the rank of Colonel (reserves).

Mr. Machlis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from the Technion, and a Master’s of Business Administration from Tel-Aviv University. He is a graduate of Harvard University Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

Gen. Herbert “Hawk” Carlisle (U.S. Air Force retired) served in the U.S. Air Force for 39 years. He was the Commander of the Air Combat Command, leading 94,000 active duty and civilian personnel, overseeing the operation of 19 bases, 34 wings, and 1,300 aircraft. Prior to that, he was the Commander of Pacific Air Forces, the air component of U.S. Pacific Command, where he led 45,000 Airmen and was responsible for USAF activities spanning more than half the globe.

Other service assignments included Deputy Chief of Staff for Air, Space and Information Operations, Plans and Requirements; and Director of Legislative Liaison at the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force. Gen. Carlisle accumulated more than 3,600 flight hours flying F-15A/B/C/D fighters, and other high-performance aircraft.

From 2017-2022 he served as President and CEO of the National Defense Industrial Association, an educational nonprofit organization that drives strategic dialogue in national security for its military, government, industry, and academic members.

Gen. Carlisle is a Non-executive Director on the board of ATI, Inc. He is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, and he earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Golden Gate University.

During his distinguished career, Mr. Mutryn served over 20 years as the Chief Financial Officer of three different public companies.

Most recently, he was the Executive Vice President - Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at CACI International for 16 years. In this role, Mr. Mutryn led a $6.5 billion government information technology and professional services finance organization, including treasury, accounting, internal audits, government compliance, insurance, and financial planning and analysis. He was also actively involved in the company’s successful growth and M&A strategy.

Other senior leadership positions he held include Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of GTSI Corp., Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of US Airways, Inc., and Vice President and Treasurer of United Airlines, Inc.

Mr. Mutryn is the Founder and President of Mike’s Place, a non-profit that provides safe and supportive housing for young men in the early stages of recovery from substance abuse. Mr. Mutryn also serves on the boards of directors of Ruddie Memorial Youth Foundation, a non-profit that funds innovative programs for disadvantaged youth; and Foundation for Drug Policy Solutions which is creating a blueprint for effective drug policies. Additionally, he is an executive director at Bluestone Investment Partners, a private equity firm focused on middle-market companies in the defense and government services arena.

Mr. Mutryn holds a Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Science in Structural Engineering, and a Master of Business Administration, all from Cornell University.

Mr. Todd Gautier has over 35 years of combined experience in the U.S. Navy and in the aerospace and defense industry. He spent more than 20 years at L3Harris Technologies Corp., retiring as President of L3Harris Aviation Systems. The ~$4 billion segment provided solutions, products and services to the U.S. Department of Defense, allies and select commercial markets. It was comprised of five business sectors and 11 business units, operated in 32 locations, across eight countries, with approximately 11,000 employees.

Previously, Mr. Gautier was Corporate Senior Vice President and President of Electronic Systems Segment, a $3 billion operating segment of L3 Technologies. He also held the role of President of the Precision Engagement Sector, Electronic Systems Group, an operational sector of L-3 Communications.

Prior to his tenure at L3Harris, Mr. Gautier served a little more than 14 years in the United States Navy as a Naval Aviator and F/A-18 Strike Fighter Pilot.

Mr. Gautier received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Gautier is a member of the Westlake, Texas Town Council. The Council serves as the governing body of the Town of Westlake and as the School Board of Westlake Academy.

Mr. Scott Greene’s career in the aerospace and defense industry spanned more than 40 years, the majority of which were at Lockheed Martin where he supported several lines of business and had significant experience in the international marketplace.

Mr. Greene retired as Executive Vice President of Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control division, a more than $11 billion enterprise employing approximately 20,000 people.

His many previous leadership roles included finance, strategic planning, operations, engineering, product development and test.

His international business experience includes the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East. He was a charter member of Lockheed Martin’s Sustainability Council and has served on the corporation’s Inclusion Council.

Mr. Greene has a Bachelor’s degree in business and applied economics from Cornell University. He has served on the Boards of Directors for the Association of the United States Army and the Dallas Regional Chamber. He also served as a member of the National Defense Industrial Association and the Air Force Association. Mr. Greene currently sits on the Perot Museum of Nature and Science Board of Directors.

Dr. Kobi Kagan was appointed as Executive Vice President – Chief Financial Officer, in April 2022. He was appointed in 2018 as deputy general manager and senior vice president – finance and control in Twenty-Six Defense Land, and from 2010 to 2018 he served as Twenty-Six Defense Land and C4I‘s vice president – finance and control.

Dr. Kagan joined Twenty-Six Defense in 2008 as a sales director at Twenty-Six Defense Land and C4I. Prior to that, Dr. Kagan served for 26 years in the Israeli Navy, where he holds the rank of a naval captain (reserves), and in the IMOD, in a variety of positions, including the Head of the Navy’s budget department. Dr. Kagan holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics and business administration, an MBA in business administration and a PhD in economics from Bar-Ilan University, and is a graduate of Harvard University Business School’s Advanced Management Program.
