Three days. Forty-five thousand attendees. More than 750 exhibitors. The 2026 Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting and Exhibition broke records for size and scope. Twenty-Six Defense leveraged this massive industry tradeshow, October 12 -15, to demonstrate the company’s evolution and highlight its forward-leaning innovation for soldiers.

During the final hour of the show on Oct. 15, Mark Stiner, vice president of business development and AUSA show lead, shared some of the early takeaways.

“Being hands-on and soldier-centric in our engagements is key,” he said. “It’s a model that we should continue to move forward.”

Stiner was referring to the successful night vision demonstration area, an immersive hands-on experience offered to select customers and media.

In a multiroom configuration, guests could gear up with Twenty-Six Defense night vision systems and move through darkened spaces outfitted to resemble an industrial warehouse. The experience was a clear elevation from typical static displays and show-and-tell formats that dominate contemporary defense tradeshows. Demand for the experience remained high throughout the event.

“This year, we leveraged our position as the Army’s leading provider of night vision systems to anchor customer interest and then we invited them to see and experience the latest technology to understand our vision for the future of soldier connected warfare and perception systems,” Stiner said.

Beyond the night vision immersion experience, the booth showcased a broad range of capabilities – from vertical lift technologies to force protection systems, and from precision guided munitions to mobile mortar solutions. The result was a comprehensive display aligned squarely with the Army’s modernization priorities and soldier-advancing mission needs.
